What We Use...

We are often asked what  we use to create our pieces.

Below is a list of what works for us!

Yes, as an Amazon Associate, I may earn from qualifying purchases.

Pebble Glue - We have found the best formulation and ease of use LOCTITE GEL CONTROL in the  hard pack.  It gives us the best control.  The gel formulation permits a no spread,  short time for adjustments after pebble placement and  dries to a  durable bond without being brittle. The applicator tip allow for complete control and the bottle keeps for weeks with out drying up.   https://amzn.to/4hUMvxk

Card Stock-  This NEENAH and CARDSTOCK WAREHOUSE card stock is affordable and comes in muted neutral colors that compliment the work. It has not faded and is heavy enough to support  pebbles without back peeling in the frames. https://amzn.to/4gJFnlS and https://amzn.to/433HAWt

Frames UPSIMPLE  frames  are the best value for gift giving. These frames are durable,  well made, come with or without matting and in different colors and sizes. They can be purchased with a glass or plexi face. We have tried many brands and keep coming back to UPSIMPLE for their quality. https://amzn.to/4k2pjP9

Matting - This GOLDEN STATE ART matting gives the finishing touches to all our projects.  The beveled inside edges elevate our finished work and is an exact fit for the UPSIMPLE frames.  https://amzn.to/4hKM5cP

Tools -Paper cutting- we find the CRICUT PAPER CUTTER  is compact enough to fit in the drawer with the other hand tools, can cut 3 to 4 layers at a time  and is easy to change the blade when needed. (the blade last a long time). we are recommending the kit here as the hand tools are very helpful holding pebbles in place when you are creating a complicated design or for the tiny stones. https://amzn.to/4aZ1tQh

Tweezers - This assortment allows precise holding, and with the angled and long handles, your hand doesn't get in the way.

Cutters - We use  these HURICANE SNIPS in both our pebble and prism art. They are small enough to trim sharp edges of pebbles for better fit, and strong enough for the wire work in our prism pieces. Bonus is they fit in the hand nicely but are small enough to go in the drawer.  https://amzn.to/40Zgz3M

Ink - These SAKURA  PIGMENT INK pens provide fade and bleed proof sketch and fill for our family trees. We use all tips including the fine, chiseled and brush.  https://amzn.to/3EFEH3U
